I came across this post while looking up the 7Ps that we used in my military days. I'm pretty sure it was "Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance" but I'm not so sure now after reading your post.

ReplyDeleteI'm a 6P guy. "Prior planning" is redundant.
ReplyDeleteNormally I'd agree with you, except that I knew a major IT business that wrote it's implementation plans AFTER delivering the (usually late and usually deficient) product. Post-planning is one way of delivering 'Performance as (contractually) Promised'. More fool the client for never asking to see, or failing to read, the paperwork before signing up those clowns.
